Our founder Allan Ward has been in the cattle business for 40 years. As a dedicated steak and beef connoisseur, Allan has spent his life critiquing flavors from across the country. IDA Meats is his passion project. Now, he shares his expertise with you, offering tried and true cuts of the finest beef and aged beef available. Likewise, our head butcher Nate Bell has had a knife in his hand trying to learn his fathers craft since he was 7 years old. It was the family business and his Dad was the master. Nate watched in admiration determined to learn everything there was to know about the butchers craft. Fast forward to present day, watching Nate pull the knife from his sheath and start cutting has a poetry like watching Doc Holiday pull out his ivory handled colt 44. When Allan saw Nate at work he recognized his artful talent to be the right fit to lead the team in the quest for the 
“perfect steak”.
